Vinyl clad wood playsets are built much like the wood playsets but with the additional feature of the wood being covered with vinyl. The primary structural component is pressure treated structural select southern yellow pine. The pressure treatment has been approved by the EPA for residential use and enables the wood to withstand decay and termite infestation when exposed to the elements. In addition, some playset parts are made from poly lumber, powder coated metal, and similar weather resistant materials. All vinyl clad wood playset parts are warranted by the manufacturer for five years against defects in workmanship or materials; structural components for the playsets are warranted for twenty years.
Other specifications include:
- Double 2x6 swingset beams
- Two 2x6 swingset top ladders (monkey bars or climbers)
- Swingset beam & top ladder lengths: 8' for two position swingsets, 10'6" for three position swingsets, and 14' for four position swingsets
- 4x4 posts for playset towers extend from ground to roof area
- Powder coated rungs for swingset climbing towers, end ladders, & top ladders
- Double 2x4 posts for swingset end ladders & climbing towers
- Vinyl clad 2x6 sandbox sides for 6" height
- Exterior carpet on enclosed playhouse floors
- Comfort grip chain standard on belt swings, rubber child's swings, trapezes, plastic gliders, and buoy balls
- Stakes for anchoring playsets included
